動詞の分類 -- 瞬間動詞（反復型）--

動作動詞の瞬間動詞の反復型をみていきましょう。以下の動作は一瞬の動作を表します。

          blink, cough, hiccup, hit, jump, kick, knock, nod, sneeze, tap, wink

これらの動詞の特徴は、進行形で「動作の反復」あらわすことです。

Mary was blinking in the blight sunshine. / She is knocking on the door.

Bob is jumping on the trampoline. / Bill is nodding in class.

意図性はどうでしょうか。〇Kick him on the bottom. ✕Don’t sneeze. 意識でコントロールできない sneeze（くしゃみをする）は不可ですが、kick は意識してコントロールできるので大丈夫です。動詞の意味次第です。

完了性：✕(?)　＊一瞬の動作なのでプロセスを前提とした完了性はなさそうです。

? She winked in three seconds. （三秒かかってウィンクした）

継続性：✕　＊一瞬なので継続不可でしょう。

× She kicked the door for 5 minutes. （５分間蹴った）
